Not necessarily! If you’re staying in Parikia or Naoussa, both towns are very walkable with plenty of restaurants, shops, and beaches nearby, so a car isn’t usually necessary. However, if you’re staying in a quieter or more remote part of Paros, we recommend renting a car to make it easier to explore the island and get around.
Yes—taxis are available on Paros and we’ve found them to be reliable for getting around the island. There are taxi stands in towns like Parikia and Naoussa, and you can also call to book a ride. Most hotels and Airbnb hosts can also help arrange transfers to and from the airport or ferry port, as well as rides around the island, so it’s easy to set something up in advance if needed. Rideshare apps like Uber may appear in the app, but they typically just connect you with a local taxi rather than a traditional rideshare driver.
Yes! We will be providing transportation for guests to and from the wedding events. On the RSVP, we ask where you will be staying on Paros so we can coordinate convenient pickup and drop-off points. We will have a shuttle service bringing guests to the ceremony and then to the reception at Villa Aethra. At the end of the evening, since weddings in Greece tend to go late, a transfer service will run approximately every hour to bring guests back to their accommodations. More details on pickup locations and timing will be shared closer to the wedding.
Summer formal attire—think elegant but comfortable for a warm evening on Paros. Great options include long or midi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or suits (with or without a tie) in lighter, breathable fabrics like linen, silk, or chiffon. Lighter colors are encouraged given the warm weather.
While we absolutely adore your little ones, our wedding events will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this allows everyone to relax and enjoy a fun evening celebrating together!
No worries—we’ll happily accommodate any dietary restrictions or allergies. Just let us know on the RSVP so we can make sure you’re taken care of!
Your presence and the effort of traveling all the way to Paros is truly the greatest gift! If you’d like to give a gift, you can either use our registry to send something to our home address or bring a card to place in the card box at the wedding.
