Hello Family and Friends, Thank you for planning to attend our wedding! The big day is quickly approaching and we know that there are a lot of questions with the recent spike in COVID cases. Let us start by saying - Yes, the wedding is still on! However, we take the safety of our friends & family very seriously and wanted to provide you all with an update as things are shifting. Wilmington, NC has enacted a mandatory mask policy when indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Our reception venue is mostly outdoors, but this rule will apply whenever you are in an indoor space or choose to sit inside the main cabin of the ferry. It is still unclear if our venue is going to implement a stricter policy so please keep an eye out for future updates. Additionally, we are requesting a few extra precautions to help keep everyone we love safe on this special day. The best gift you could give us for our wedding is a COVID-free event <3 • Regardless of vaccination status, we ask that you get a COVID test within 1 week of the event (September. 18 or later). These can be regular tests, rapid tests, or even the at-home packs you can now buy at CVS. Once you have received a negative result, please mask up, and take extra precautions over the days leading up to the wedding to stay negative, especially when traveling! In the event you test positive, we kindly ask that you celebrate with us from afar for the safety of all of the wedding guests. We will be sure to set aside another time to celebrate with you in-person! <3 • Any unvaccinated guest, we kindly ask that you wear a mask at all events, whether indoor or outdoor.
