Exchanging of Vows

3:30 pm - 4:15 pm

Cocktail Attire: Consider cocktail dresses, dark jackets and slacks. No jeans and flip flops please. The ceremony is outdoors and may require a small hike, so please plan footwear accordingly. No stiletto heels - consider a wedge if you must have a heel.

Wedding ceremony is taking place at Chestnut Ridge Overlook in Miller Farm Homestead. This is located within Roan Mountain State Park. You must first drive up a very large hill to get there. Once you reach the top, you will see a parking lot and a gravel road extending further up. This leads to the overlook. Parking is available at the base only and many guests will need to make the short trek to the overlook. Please do NOT drive to the top and park here as this is reserved for the bridal party to make their entrance. Parking is available at the conference center where the reception will take place. For guests staying on-site in the cabins, these are located at walking distance to the reception. After the ceremony, bride and groom will be taking photos, so we recommend that our guests return briefly to their cabins to drop off vehicles and walk over to the reception. If you are staying off-site, you may proceed directly to the reception area.
