The public transportation in Charleston is not very reliable. We recommend using Uber, or any hotel shuttles available for transportation, if you don’t drive your own car or rent one.

Along with the many hotels, we highly recommend staying at one of the various homes/apartments listed in Airbnb. There are quite a few places downtown that offer parking, are walking distance to various dining/shopping and are usually better priced than hotels. We have used this service before in Toronto, and loved it!
