Festive [Casual] Chic Attire. (Wear what you want.)
The Grays would like to welcome all y'all to San Miguel de Allende! Help kick off the festivities by joining us for casual tacos y tequila at Casa Cariño, which boasts hillside views of all of San Miguel and is saturated with old-word Italy vibes. Casa Cariño is very centrally located and within comfortable walking distance for many of you. It is, however, just ever so slightly uphill. Please see our Travel page for details about Taxis and Uber/Lyft in downtown SMA, all of which are extremely accessible. Gals - heels are not recommended for walking on the cobblestone streets. But, we understand that the temptation can be hard to resist, so make sure to pack an extra pair of tennies if you do not heed our advice. Heels, cobblestone hills, and tequila are a recipe for disaster!
7:00 pm
Elevated Festive Attire: bright and colorful cocktail dresses, LBDs if you're boring, dressy jumpsuits, and jackets with slacks.
Yes, it's creatively called "The Restaurant," but you will not be equally uninspired by the creative, chic, fusion cooking in the 18th-century mansion courtyard. The Trevathans invite all guests to celebrate with us in one of our favorite spots in the heart of downtown! ** We have the entire space reserved for the night and [heavy] hors d'oeuvre and drinks will be served. Please plan to arrive by 7:00pm (which may mean an early dinner, if substantial hors d'oeuvre are not enough for you, at one of the many delicious spots we recommend on the tab over!)
Fri, Mar 10, 2023, 5:00 pm - Sat, Mar 11, 2023, 2:00 am
Attire: Formal with a touch of Festive. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and fancy cocktail dresses. The brighter and bolder the colors the better! The venue is a bit outside of town and decidedly NOT on cobblestone streets, so feel free to go crazy. In case that was entirely unhelpful, here's some inspiration for outfits, ladies: https://pin.it/6vYoA8d
We will provide shuttle service to Rancho Las Sabinas from two central pick-up points in the city (Centro San Miguel). Las Sabinas is a 10-15 minute drive from Centro, depending on who is driving and what they are driving (i.e., Katie would get there in 10, Mike would take 20). We will update this page with shuttle timing closer to the date. (Don't worry, there will be ample taxi and Uber options if you miss the shuttle - a Katie special.) Please see our Travel page for details about transportation in San Miguel.

Hungover Festive
A casual, post-wedding gathering. Order lunch as you please. The Come and Go Type. (That said, we specifically opted for a Friday wedding so that you all could take a dang vacation and enjoy the most amazing city, so no pressure to join us!)
