This might seem like an unconventional pick, but since it's Halloween weekend we highly recommend you check out the Midnight Madness showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Music Box Theatre. Attending a showing is a must-do during Halloween!
What about deep dish? While we don't indulge in this Chicago delicacy every week, on special occasions Pequod's is by far our favorite place for deep dish pizza! Be sure to give yourself plenty of time, as you often need to give the kitchen an extra 30-40 minutes to make sure everything is cooked all the way through.
Looking for a Chicago dog or Italian Beef? Look no further than Portillo's! We're recommended the location off of Addison Street, but there are multiple locations to choose from. Make sure to pick up a slice of chocolate cake, or even better a chocolate cake shake while you're there.
If you're a foodie check out any of, Top Chef winner, Stephanie Izard's restaurants. Her original location, Girl & The Goat is listed here, but her other namesake's Little Goat and Duck Duck Goat are equally as delicious, less expensive, and easier to make a reservation for.
Katie and Michelle met in dance class, and both have a continued love for the art. If you too are a lover of ballet look into the Joffrey ballet's offering of performances. Love theatre? Check out Broadway in Chicago and the Lyric Opera! Often performances come to Chicago before they premiere on Broadway in New York City. You never know what the next big show may be!
