Question

Do I need to be vaccinated to attend?

Answer

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic all restaurants, bars, and event spaces, including those hosting private events, in the City of Evanston are required to collect proof of vaccination for entry. We hope that you will choose to be vaccinated and celebrate with us, but if not we thank you for being understanding and will have to celebrate with you another time.

Question

How do I submit proof of vaccination?

Answer

In addition to an RSVP we are requiring that all guests submit proof of full vaccination to the link below. We also ask that you bring your vaccination card, or a picture of your vaccination card along with your ID, as it may be checked at the door. https://www.palmhouse619.com/vaccination-verifications

Question

What is considered "fully vaccinated"?

Answer

• Two weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series with an approved COVID-19 vaccine, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines. OR • Two weeks after a single-dose series with an approved COVID-19 vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 23rd, 2022 in order to allow our caterer to properly order and prepare enough food for our guests.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is suggested for all of our guests!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! When you RSVP make sure to tell us about any dietary restrictions you may have.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, if a plus one was not included on your invitation we are unable to accommodate them. If however, you are in a relationship and you were not given a plus one please let us know and we will see what we can do!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your kids, if they are not explicitly listed on your invitation we are unable to include them at this event.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is limited parking along Howard Street. We recommend taking public transportation, utilizing a ride share app or taxi, or utilizing the SP+ parking garage at the Howard Street Redline station. The red, purple, and yellow line trains, as well as the SP+ parking garage are all about an 8 minute walk to the venue.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

M&M Limousine's shuttle bus will make one stop to pick up guests from the Graduate Evanston at 4pm to bring them to the ceremony site. When the night comes to an end get back to the Graduate Evanston safely by hopping on our shuttle bus, which will run between 10pm and midnight! Guests staying at Hyatt House or an outside hotel will be asked to provide their own transportation.
