PLEASE BOOK YOUR HOTEL ASAP! THERE IS A LOT HAPPENING IN CHICAGO AND SPACE ON THE NORTH SHORE IS LIMITED. THE DNC IS IN THE CITY AUG 19-22. FLIGHTS: O'Hare is significantly closer than Midway to the North Shore. Both airports are of course okay, but O'Hare makes for a really easy journey. If you choose Midway, you'll have to cross the entire city and it can take up to 2 hours with traffic and construction. TRANSPORTATION: We highly recommend renting a car to explore. There are limited Ubers in Lake Forest. We will have a shuttle running to and from the Forester on Saturday for the wedding.

The Forester is a brand new Hyatt where the Chicago Bears stay for spring training. That's just a fun fact. They won't actually be staying there in August. They will be busy losing on national television. Anyways, the Forester has a great lobby bar where the after party for the wedding will be. We highly recommend you stay at this hotel as we'll plan to spend most of our free time here. Rate: $319 a night. There are also suites and adjoining rooms available outside our block.
