Things to Do by the Gem Theater
Start your day with Madcap Coffee on Farmer Street. Get a picture at Comerica Park, the Tigers baseball stadium, and possibly see a day game. Head to Checker Bar for retro arcade games and drinks. For "The Bear" fans, head to Standby bar, which is partnered with actor Matty Matheson.
Motown Museum
Take a walk down Motown memory lane, and see where your favorite Motown hits were created. Be sure to purchase your tickets in advance. Get a glimpse at a famous sequined glove, and stand in the recording studio where 11-year-old Stevie Wonder got his start. While you're in the neighborhood, stop by the Lincoln Street Art Park, and try a famous Detroit-style pizza at Pie Sci Pizza.

Take a Trip to Katie's Hometown
Ypsilanti is 16 miles from Detroit Metro Airport, and 36 miles from downtown Detroit. Ypsi is famous for its unique water tower, where Josh proposed to Katie. Ypsi's historic Depot Town is home to several great local restaurants (Sidetrack Bar & Grill, and MAIZ Mexican Cantina), as well as boutique shops. In downtown Ypsilanti, drop by Katie's favorite bookstore, Blackstone Bookstore & Cultural Center.
