What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

4:30 PM. (This is 30 minutes before the prompt start of the ceremony.)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! You will receive a parking pass with a QR code with your invitation. That will grant you access to the Gem Theater's parking structure. The Gem Theater Parking Garage is located at 1901 Brush Street, Detroit, MI 48226.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We do not have a shuttle service, so guests will have to drive or use ride share (UBER or Lyft). If you book a hotel room at the Hilton Garden Inn in Downtown Detroit, the hotel is within walking distance of our venue.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Our venue is in the heart of downtown Detroit, which means LOTS of other events will be going on (including a Tigers baseball game down the street!). Traffic will likely be heavy on the day of the wedding, so please plan accordingly.

Although we love your kids, this is an adults-only wedding.

Yes! Please let Katie and Josh know that you have a food allergy so we can assist you.
