Things To Do

We are so excited to share some of our favorite places with you!
Palo Alto

Palo Alto

Palo Alto, CA

Palo Alto is where our hotel blocks are located! A local Palo Alto insider recommends: Town & Country Village (right next to hotel blocks, lots of fast casual and sit down restaurants), Osteria Toscana, Rangoon Ruby (Burmese), Coconuts Carribean Restaurant & Bar, Nola, The Wine Room, Vino Locale, Coupa cafe and Philz coffee! Shout out to Katie's cousin, Diana, for being our local insider :)

Woodside

Woodside

Woodside, CA

Cute small town near our venue! Some recs are: The Filoli House and Garden, The Village Hub Coffee Bar and Garden, The Village Bakery, Thomas Fogarty Winery, hiking (see recs below)!

Alice's Restaurant

Alice's Restaurant

17288 Skyline Boulevard, Woodside, CA 94062

An iconic restaurant right across the street from our wedding venue!

San Francisco

San Francisco

San Francisco, CA

You can drive or take the Caltrain into San Francisco, there's tons to do and see! Some of our favorite spots are: Baker beach (view of Golden Gate Bridge), The Painted Ladies (Full House), Dolores Park, Chinatown (City View has great dim sum), the Mission District (cool street art and yummy food), the Marina District (Chestnut street, Palace of Fine Arts). If you want more recommendations feel free to ask, it is a cool city to explore!

Hiking

Hiking

There are lots of hiking trails in the area. Some include Thornewood Open Space Preserve, Wunderlich County Park, The Meadows, Windy Hill, Foothills Open Space Preserve, and Pearson-Arastradero Perserve. A closer option is the Stanford Dish that's not too far from the campus.

Stanford University

Stanford University

450 Jane Stanford Way, Stanford, CA 94305

Gorgeous campus within walking distance from our hotel blocks. Some spots to check out are Memorial Church, the gardens, Hoover Tower, Cantor Arts Center, and lots more!

Half Moon Bay

Half Moon Bay

Half Moon Bay, CA

A roughly 35-minute drive from Palo Alto area with gorgeous beaches! There are trails along the coast (California Coastal Trail, Half Moon Bay Coastal Trail, Mavericks Cliffs) with beach access points. Downtown Half Moon Bay (Main Street) is a cute area with lots of food, coffee, and shopping; we recommend Ciya Mediterranean. Thanks to Katie's cousin Chenery for being our expert on Half Moon Bay!

For all the days along the way
