Things To Do

We love Durham and are so excited for our friends and family to have the chance to explore it. Check out a few of our favorite recommendations below.
Sarah P. Duke Gardens

Sarah P. Duke Gardens

420 Anderson Street, Durham, NC 27708

The Sarah P. Duke Gardens are located on Duke University's campus. It's one of the most beautiful spots in NC! Admission is free and they are open every day. The Duke University Chapel is also located on campus, and is open to the public daily if you would like to visit.

American Tobacco Campus

American Tobacco Campus

300 Blackwell Street, Durham, NC 27701

If you want the true Durham experience, you have to check out the American Tobacco Campus. Durham made its name in the tobacco industry in the late 1800s, and the massive tobacco factory was later transformed into a historic district that's now home to staple Durham restaurants, shops, and the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. A couple spots we like are Press Coffee & Crepes and Parker and Otis.

Durham Breweries

Durham Breweries

Durham, NC

Check out some of our favorite local places to grab a craft beer! We recommend Fullsteam, Hi Wire, and most of all - Ponysaurus, the place where we first reconnected (followed by Pour Taproom)

Al Buehler Trail

Al Buehler Trail

Al Buehler Trail, Durham, NC 27705

The Al Buehler Trail is a 3-mile long walking trail that circles around the Washington Duke Inn. If you're looking to get outside or stretch your legs before all the food, it's a great option!

For all the days along the way
