Looking for some outfit inspo for our multicultural wedding?!
Indian Ceremony:
We encourage our guests to wear Indian attire, suits, or summer cocktail/midi dresses to our Indian wedding ceremony in the morning (some examples above for inspo).
Indian weddings are colorful! Feel free to wear lighter and brighter hues.
Do you want to buy your first Indian outfit? How exciting! Some sites we recommend: Lashkaraa, Etsy, Aza Fashions, Kalki Fashion, Pernia's Pop Up Shop, MIRRAW, Cbazaar, or House of Indya. There's lots of other great online options!
We have a break between ceremonies after lunch, so if you'd like to change for the evening events, you will have plenty of time to change, rest, and freshen up!
American Ceremony & Reception:
Black-Tie Optional
Men: Tuxedo or dark suit and tie
Women: Floor-length gown, midi-length dress, or formal Indian attire
We kindly ask that you do not wear RED or WHITE on our wedding day, these are traditionally bridal colors for both cultures!
Please do not feel like you need to purchase something new for our wedding!

Our wedding will include a traditional Indian ceremony, which may be new to some of you. If you’d like to dress in Indian attire (totally optional but very welcome!), here are some helpful search terms: For women: saree, lehenga, salwar kameez, palazzo suit For men: kurta, sherwani, achkan, kurta with nehru vest or jacket You can also look up "Indian wedding attire" or "Hindu wedding ceremony" to get a sense of what to expect.
