Vinhas da Criação Velha
This walking route will take you along the coast, through the vineyard, and past the windmill where we’ll be getting married! We went on this walk on our first visit to the island. It’s relatively flat and easy to walk–and begins right outside our recommended housing options! The whole thing one way is a little less than 4 miles–going to the end and back to the area we’re all staying in will be almost 8 miles.

The Azores is an archipelago of nine islands that's sometimes called the "Hawaii of Europe". There's plenty to explore, especially on São Miguel.
