We're so excited to celebrate with you and share our favorite parts of this beautiful island! All of these events are within walking distance of our recommended housing options to make it easy for us to get around and be together. There's no specific dress code for any of our wedding events--just wear something you'll feel comfy and cool in standing next to a bright red windmill. The weather in the Azores this time of year can be a little unpredictable, so it might be a good idea to bring a rain jacket.

Let's meet up and taste some wines at the biggest wine co-op in the Azores. They make our favorite wine, Frei Gigante!

Let's have dinner and kick off our celebration on the island! We'll enjoy some time together and Kati & Maxwell-themed trivia. No, you're not required to eat the octopus, but we'd certainly recommend it.

Moinho do Frade

We'll get married in the shadow the windmill! Since this is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, they don't take reservations, so we'll head over there together around 5ish and cross our fingers there aren't too many humans milling about.

Let's eat, drink, and be merry because we're married! Again, the octopus isn't required but it really is that good.
