Please check the most up to date travel requirements for entry into Colombia, as they may change. The US Embassy Covid-19 Information Link is available here: https://co.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/. There is a walk-in Covid testing center on the ground floor of the Hyatt Regency. You can get same-day results for $30 USD. We recommend booking an appointment with them if you are needing to get tested to return to the US.
Please see the "Travel & Hotel" page - the welcome event, ceremony and reception will all be held within the Walled City. Our preferred hotel is the Hyatt Regency in Bocagrande. There are many airbnb options for inside the walled city, but keep in mind that many of the buildings and residences are preserved in the Colonial style. If you'd like more modern accommodations, we suggest staying at a hotel along the beach in Bocagrande, which is just a short 5-10 minute taxi ride away from the wedding weekend festivities.
Please see the "Things to do/places to eat" page. Cartagena is filled with amazing restaurants - however, the best restaurants do book up in advance (many are reservation only), and so we encourage you to make your dinner reservations as far in advance as possible.
The Friday Welcome Event will be casual attire; the city has amazing boho, beachy vibes, and feel free to dress the part! Saturday's ceremony/reception will be cocktail attire. Please see the "Schedule" page for more info on times for the events.
We have a welcome event on Friday evening, the ceremony will start at sundown on Saturday, and there is a brunch on Sunday. We would love for you to attend as much of the weekend events as your schedule allows. Flights generally arrive in the late afternoon/early evening daily, and so a Thursday - Monday trip would allow for you to participate in all the events, and even longer if you plan on making a vacation out of it! Please see the "Schedule" page for more info on times for the events.
