Other Lodging

There are many other places to stay on Mackinac Island. Please feel free to stay at other locations. They are listed on the Mackinac Island tourism website. We do recommend spending at least the night of Saturday September 24th on Mackinac Island as the ferries stop running early (7:00pm is the last Shepler’s of the day) that time of the year and don’t want you to miss out on dessert and dancing. For baggage transportation information please visit the website of the place you are staying or call them for more information. If you decide not to stay on the island the entire weekend there are multiple hotels in both St. Ignace and Mackinaw City.

Flying into Michigan

If you are flying into Michigan there are several options of airports to fly into. Details are on the Mackinac Island Tourism Website. There are shuttles from the Pellston Regional Airport and Chippewa County International Airport to the ferry docks. Note: It may be more cost effective to fly into Detroit then rent a car to drive to the ferry.
