We're so excited to celebrate with you!

The story of Katy and Steve began in February 2018 when both decided to swipe right on Tinder. The pair first met for brunch. Four hours and a missed airport pick up later (sorry Shea) Steve chickened out on a first kiss. Katy thought she would never hear from Steve again. After both of them avoided Valentine’s Day like the plague they met up for a second date of dinner and ping-pong. Upon meeting Steve in the parking lot of his apartment complex (free parking downtown!) the first phrase out of Steve’s mouth was “My roommate is not home...come and meet my cat.” Knowing Dexter (the cat) is named after the fictional serial killer, multiple Dateline scenarios ran though Katy’s head. Everyone survived the second date and the many more to come, including Dexter who likes to pretend he is dying every time Steve leaves for the weekend. Because of their mutual love of travel, tennis, snowboarding, ice cream, and dad-jokes, it wasn’t long before Katy and Steve (and Dexter) moved in together. Their endless goofiness and taco runs got them through the pandemic, and their relationship grew stronger than ever. After just over three years Steve finally stopped procrastinating and popped the question on their favorite brewery tour (sans hula hoops) at Milwaukee Brewing Company! The two now look forward to starting their next chapter together and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
