Your presence at our wedding means more to us than you'll ever know! We realize that it is a significant financial sacrifice just to come, so please don't feel any need to give us a gift -- your presence is your present! For those of you unable to come who have asked about gifts, again we say that your support and prayers for our marriage are more than we could ever ask for! To the third category of y'all who really want to give us a gift, we want to explain our registry.
As a dear, old family friend used to say,
“The best gift you can give someone is a memory. Material things can be lost, broken, or taken away, but no one can ever take away your memories -- they are the gift that lasts a lifetime!"
Based on that wisdom, we have chosen to do a Honeymoon Registry so we can make memories & you can be a part of them! We will get to take you on our honeymoon with us, in a sense, and your gift of a hotel room or gondola ride or gelato will become part of our lifetime memories!

In our Registry, we have listed our general honeymoon itinerary. We have both been working 2 jobs to help pay for this once-in-a-lifetime trip, but surely we will exceed our budget so ANY gifts, however small, will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for beginning our lifetime together with us!
