Getting to Dillon

Windy Point Campground is located in Dillon, CO about 60 miles west of Denver. The closest airport is Denver International Airport which is about 1.5-2 hour drive from Dillon. Car rental is available at the airport. If you are driving west from Denver on I-70 on Friday June 19, please allow extra time to reach Dillon as weekend traffic starts in the afternoon.

Windy Point Campground (location of wedding)

Facilities: Windy Point Campground has two group campsites available for use. The Lake Loop and the Forest Loop. Both loops are able to accommodate tents, trailers and RV's. There is additional tent camping located a short, but steep hike from the parking area near the Lake Loop. Electrical hook-ups are not available. Each loop is equipped with picnic tables, campfire rings and vault toilets. We have the campground reserved from Thursday June 18 at 2:00pm (check in) through Sunday June 21 at 12:00pm (check out).

We don’t have a hotel block, but there are plenty of great places to stay nearby! You’ll find lots of options in Dillon, Keystone, Silverthorne, Frisco and Breckenridge- ranging from hotels to cozy rentals on Airbnb or VRBO. Day of wedding transportation

We won’t have a shuttle for the wedding, and ride shares like Uber/Lyft can be a bit hit-or-miss out here. If you’ll be enjoying some drinks, please plan ahead for a safe ride, or even better just camp with us! We want everyone to celebrate and get home safely.
