House Or Rental

AirBnB or VRBO

For those interested in an alternative to the hotel room block, there are numerous short term rentals on Nantucket through AirBnB or VRBO. Everything from 1 bedroom to multi family homes are available on the Island. For convenience, we encourage finding one in town. If you would like to join a larger house with other guests, please reach out to Kathie and she will connect you to each other.

Flight

Nantucket Memorial Airport (ACK)

Airlines that fly into ACK include - American Airlines, Cape Air, Delta Airlines, JetBlue & United Airlines (There is also a semi-private airline called Tradewinds Aviation if that is something that interests you!)

Flight

Boston Logan Airport (BOS)

If flying to Nantucket isn't going to be as easy for you, consider flying into Boston and then taking an Uber/Lyft or car service to the ferry in Hyannis. There is also a bus (which is less expensive) that takes people straight from the airport to the ferry, this is called the P&B. It can be difficult to navigate your first time so please do your research if you are choosing this option!

Flight

Cape Cod Gateway Airport (HYA)

HYA - new option for flying to Nantucket. Hyannis is also where the ferries depart from. If you choose to fly to Hyannis, you will still need to take a ferry, however you won't need a car service or bus trip from Boston. We encourage you to compare and know that the round trip on the ferry is about $80.

Travel Note

Hy-Line Ferry

The Hy-Line takes off from Hyannis. Check dates and times starting in January 2025 and make sure you book round-trip tickets! There are ferries about every 90 minutes.

Travel Note

Steamship Ferry

The Steamship takes off from Hyannis. Check dates and times starting in January 2025 and make sure you book round-trip tickets! The Steamship has both a slow boast and a fast boat so make sure you take this into consideration when booking!

Rental Car

Affordable Rentals

6 South Beach Street, Nantucket, MA 02554

Be sure to mention that you are coming for Aaron Gould's wedding! Aaron worked here for years and Kathie even worked here too, during her first summer on Nantucket! Affordable Rentals is connected to Cooks Cycles and bikes are one of the best ways to get around Nantucket! (A car is really not necessary unless you plan to stay a while!)

Rental Car

Turo

An alternative to formal rental car companies, there are many choices on Nantucket if you wanted to have a car for just part of the trip! If you search and fliter, be sure the car you select is actually on Nantucket Island!
