What is so special about Nantucket?
Answer
Nantucket is one of the most unique and well preserved places in the world. Upon arrival you will see cobblestone streets, New England style architecture and absolutely no chain stores! Nantucket's preservation is integral to islanders and vacationers alike. Aaron's Grandfather, Donald Visco, was born on Nantucket when the posts on Main Street were still used for people to tie up their horses! If you want to learn more about the history of Nantucket, Aaron's grandparents have some amazing stories to tell!

How do I get to Nantucket?
Answer
You can get to Nantucket by sea or air! Ferries to Nantucket leave from Hyannis about every hour in the summer months! There are also several different airlines that fly into Nantucket (ACK) all day in the summer! (P.S. The restaurant inside the airport, Crosswinds, is a local favorite! Kathie and Aaron love the Eggs Benedict!)

What are my choices for accommodations on Nantucket?
Answer
There are plenty of places to stay on this beautiful island. The White Elephant Hotel is offering a discounted block of rooms to our guests. Additionally there are Inns, AirBnBs and VRBO options that we recommend checking out! If you would like to get a group together to stay in a larger house please contact Kathie and she will tell you other guests you know with whom you can coordinate.

May I bring a date?
Answer
We can't wait to see the faces of our closest friends and family as we say "I Do"! We have carefully chosen our list of guests and the names of those invited will be included on the invitation you receive and in the RSVP section of our website. If you have questions please contact Kathie or Aaron directly by January at the latest.

How many days should we be in Nantucket?
Answer
Many people are planning to arrive on Thursday! As you will see on the website, we have events Friday through Sunday that we hope you can all attend. The Thursday evening event is for the bridal party.

What time should I arrive for the wedding?
Answer
The wedding will start promptly at 4 pm. We recommend arriving at 3:30 to select a seat and say hello to everyone!

What color are the bridesmaids wearing?
Answer
The bridesmaids will be dressed in blue! Please feel free to wear whatever color you wish, but we have gotten this question, so wanted to share the answer!

Are the wedding and reception indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The wedding will be outside in the garden overlooking the Nantucket Harbour. The reception will flow between the garden and a canopy!

Why does everyone keep saying "on" Nantucket?
Answer
Believe it or not "on" Nantucket is the way locals and vacationers alike refer to Nantucket! Saying you are "in" Nantucket is totally out ;) We want to make sure our guests are in the know!
