Welcome Party

WELCOME TO CHARLOTTESVILLE! If you plan to arrive on Friday, we’d love you to join us for a Welcome Reception at "The Local", in downtown Charlottesville. We kindly advise that dinner is enjoyed prior to joining the Welcome Party, but we will have light hors d'oeuvres and drinks on us. PARKING: Street parking is available directly in front and on adjacent streets in the Belmont neighborhood. Fitzgerald Tire's parking lot is available 7 days a week after 5pm. Parking is also available at Mockingbird, located on the corner of Douglas and Hinton Ave. UBER / LYFT Ride apps also available in downtown Charlottesville. ATTIRE: Dressy Casual — The wedding party will be coming from the rehearsal and wearing cocktail attire, but please come as you are!

Wedding Ceremony

3:30 pm

Attire: Black-Tie Optional

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors and will begin promptly at 3:30pm. Buses will be provided for guests to travel to The Lodge at Mount Ida Farm and back. Three large buses will be available to board at 2pm across from the Draftsman hotel (1106 West Main Street) and will promptly leave at 2:15pm. Buses will depart from the Wedding Reception back to the Draftsman Hotel location at 9:30pm. The buses will make a pitstop at the After-Party location, The Fitzroy, for those who would like to continue the festivities. The buses will then return to the Draftsman hotel. We strongly encourage you to take the buses as Google Maps provides unreliable routes through undriveable private properties and there are no Uber/Lyft services at the venue site. However, if you decide to drive, please follow the directions found in our FAQ section rather than using GPS.
