Camp Margaritaville Breaux Bridge
Camp Margaritaville an RV resort located in Breaux Bridge. There over 91 cabins on-site, with different types of layouts for you to choose from. Most cabins have capacity for up to 6 guests, so you + friends can team up to make it even cheaper if you would like. We will be staying there too! There is also the option to bring your own RV, camper, or Airstream and just book a hook-up spot for it. To book: We have a room block that gives you a 10% discount on the cabins. To utilize this block, you need to call via phone and reserve (sorry, online is not possible, it is a little old school there..). Let them know you want to reserve a cabin as part of the Shipley/Suder wedding. If you live outside of the US, reach out to Kate or Ryan and we will help you book! Phone number to call and reserve cabin: +1 337-667-7772 The last day to reserve your cabin with the discount and within the room block is December 31, 2025. After that, they will release the rooms. To ensure you get the discount, and also to be sure you can reserve the cabin you want, we recommend making your reservation ASAP!

We are giving the link to one place we have stayed before. Note that the shuttle will only be picking up from Camp Margaritaville, so you will need to meet there for rehearsal and wedding day transportation.

If you prefer to stay in a hotel, your closest option is the Holiday Inn Express in Breaux Bridge. It is located right next to Camp Margaritaville.

Louis Armstrong New Orleans Airport (MSY)
MSY will have the most flight options, it is the international airport based in New Orleans. MSY is approximately 1 hour 45 minute drive from Breaux Bridge.

Lafayette Regional Airport (LFT)
LFT is the closest regional airport to Breaux Bridge. It is approximately 15 minute drive from this airport to Breaux Bridge. It is the closest option, but probably many fewer flight options.

Transportation New Orleans ↔ Breaux Bridge

A bus will be available for guests that would like to ride from New Orleans to Breaux Bridge, to avoid renting a car or driving. Details to come, but we anticipated that the bus will leave at 11:00AM, arriving at Margaritaville by 2:00PM. We will also organize a bus back from Breaux Bridge to New Orleans on Sunday. We will reach out and ask you to RSVP and let us know if you will be riding the bus in coming months. If you do not take this bus option, you will need to drive / rent a car to get from New Orleans to Breaux Bridge, which is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes.

Friday shuttle to rehearsal dinner

On Friday for the rehearsal dinner, a shuttle will be available for guests that would like to ride from Margaritaville to the event at Basin Landing. We anticipate the 1st pick up at Margaritaville at 3:30PM. The bus will be available to shuttle any guests from dinner back to Margaritaville throughout the night and will bring the final group home at the end of the rehearsal dinner at 10:00PM.

Saturday shuttle to wedding

A bus will be available for guests that would like to ride from Margaritaville to the wedding at Maison Madeleine. The bus will be available to shuttle guests from the wedding and after-party back to Margaritaville throughout the night and will bring the final group home at the end of the party at 3:00AM. Parking spots are very limited at the wedding venue, so when we ask you to RSVP we will ask you to let us know if you prefer to drive and park there (so we can keep track).
