Party Bus from New Orleans to Breaux Bridge
11:00 am - 2:00 pm
For anyone who wants to avoid renting a car to get to the wedding, we will be organizing a party bus to get people (us included) from New Orleans to Breaux Bridge. We will leave at 11:00 from a central location in New Orleans (exact location TBD), and make some scenic, daiquiri-filled stops along the way. Please RSVP if you would like to jump on the bus. The bus will leave at 11:00 am SHARP from a central location in New Orleans. Drivers coming from New Orleans are welcome to caravan along 🎊. We will also organize a bus back to New Orleans from Breaux Bridge at approximately 11:00 AM on Sunday (arriving in New Orleans around 1:30 PM). As a note: we will also organize shuttles to both events in Breaux Bridge, regardless of whether you drive yourself or take a bus. You do not need to RSVP for these at this time.
Crawfish Boil and Swamp Tour

For attire, this event is casual.
Everyone is welcome to join us for our swamp tour and crawfish boil 'rehearsal dinner' on Friday evening. We will be offering optional swamp tours for those attending. Time slots: There are two time slots for the swamp tours. The first one is at 4:00 PM, and the second slot is 5:30 PM. Please let us know if you would like to partake in a swamp tour (no pressure!), as well as your preferred time slot, depending on your planned arrival to Friday's event. The event (food and drinks) will begin around 5:00 PM. The dinner will be a crawfish boil, along with a few appetizers, and fresh fruit popsicles for desert (we figured we needed one light option ahead of the wedding).

Ceremony & Reception

Suggested attire is Swamp Chic / Cypress Casual. Think nature-friendly garden party attire. We suggest breathable fabrics and comfortable shoes. Glitter and a touch of Mardi Gras flavor is welcome but not required. The idea is to look good and feel good, whatever that means to you. On the topic of ties, you are welcome to wear one, but the groom is not.
The ceremony begins at 4:00 PM. There will be a cocktail hour with drinks & bites, followed by dinner, music, dancing, and hanging until around 11:00 PM. A shuttle bus will be on-site to take anyone back and forth to Margaritaville.
After Party

We will be heading to Buck and Johnny's (a local Zydeco brunch spot in Breaux Bridge) around 11:00 PM to keep the party going. We will have a couple of top notch musical guests hit the decks, and will boogie together until around 3:00 AM. A shuttle will be onsite to take guests back to Margaritaville throughout the night until the final group is brought back at 3:00 AM.
