One of our first and favorite dates was seeing Katey's buddy Daniel play with his band Mosquito Cabaret at Capitol Ale House.

Heading to Walhalla, SC for the first time together to celebrate his brother's wedding. Chad asked Katey to go and meet his family only three weeks in to dating!

Chad planned our first kiss at this outlook in South Carolina, but Katey got impatient and totally got him to kiss her before then :)

Katey might not have been Cupid, but even as Robin Hood she shot an arrow right through Chad's heart, and the week after their trip to SC, Chad and Katey said "I love you " for the first time.

Oct. 2020 - At Chad's buddy Mike's wedding, we began seeing our own wedding in our future, and less than a month later, he was secretly buying a ring!

Nov. 2020 - We never say no to the opportunity to dance like spazzes together. Ever.

Feb. 13, 2021 - After a crazy day full of mishaps and unexpected turns amidst an ice storm, Chad proposed at Blue Mountain Brewery near Wintergreen. Thank you to Jake and Lauren for being there!

And, obviously, Katey said yes!
