Travel Note

Getting Here: You have lots of options.

1. Fly into Denver and rent a car: Drive time is a beautiful three hours and 45 minutes (add an hour or two for traffic if you land Friday afternoon). This is your cheapest option. We recommend a pit-stop in Frisco for gas, coffee, snacks, etc. 2. Fly into Assspen: Drive time is about an hour. This is more expensive but usually worth the difference. You can pick up your luggage and rent a car in a matter of moments. You could also take the bus to Carbondale, which is less than 30 minutes from the venue and costs $6. Someone coming to the wedding will (probably) scoop you up eventually. 3. Fly into Grand Junction and rent a car: Drive time is two hours. This is also very easy but kinda pricey. 4. Fly into Eagle-Vail and rent a car: Drive time is an hour and twenty minutes. This is another small, convenient airport, and it's often the most expensive. 5. Drive! When was the last time you drove across the country? Just saying.

We are happy to answer questions if you are considering renting a house. If you rent a house with more rooms than you need, please let us know if you'd like us to connect you with others looking for lodging. There are still many AirBNB options available and some on VRBO. Search between Marble and Redstone; the venue is pretty much half-way between the two. Use the map option to search. Some places will say "Carbondale" even though they are "up the Crystal,” as we call it. If you are considering making a vacation of this trip, Marble truly is a beautiful place worth spending some time.
