The most convenient way to get into Houghton is to fly into Houghton/Hancock Airport (CMX), which is only 15 minutes from the wedding reception venue. However, this can be relatively expensive. A more cost effective option would be to fly into Minneapolis. From there you can rent a car and drive 6 hours. There are several other airports worth checking out with options in between in terms of cost/driving distance. Lastly, if you are looking for a more classic Lake Superior experience, Lance recommends making your way to Duluth where you can then hop aboard the Edmund Fitzgerald. Dress code is summer formal.
The wedding ceremony will be outdoors, and the wedding reception will be indoors. In the event of inclement weather, the wedding ceremony will be held at the same location of the reception.
Plus one option will be specified on the wedding invite.

Parking at Ceremony will be limited, so please carpool as much as possible. The reception has a small parking lot available, as well as street parking. However, walking is highly encouraged if staying nearby (15 Minute walk from Super 8).
