Wedding Party

Meet the ladies in velvet who will be standing with us on our big day!

Annie Solberg

Bridesmaid

est: 1993 Annie is Kate's younger sister by birth, and sorority sister by initiation. They share a love for family, and a special love for their four legged friends. Annie is a cat mama while Kate has a dog, but they'll both show you pictures of their pets even if you didn't ask. Annie is a country music girl while Kate skews toward the alternative genre, but their love for music festivals keeps them going together to concerts summer after summer! Favorite Annie memory: spending time poolside at Nana + Papa's house in Florida, and ordering too much sushi at our favorite Naples sushi spot

Meredith Golden

Maid of Honor

Meredith is Victoria's younger sister and has been imitating her for 30+ years. They looked and sounded so similar growing up that teachers often called Meredith by the wrong name and even their parents couldn't tell them apart on the phone. Her interests were always heavily influenced by Victoria from musical theatre to grammar appreciation, but her love of sports is one they don't particularly share. Meredith has lived in Brooklyn, NY for nine years and is looking forward to the next time Vic & Kate visit for another food and cocktail tour of the city.

Molly Corrigan

Bridesmaid

est: 2003 Kate and Molly met in high school, freshman year. They became fast friends and shared a host of experiences through high school and into college at Western Illinois University, where they were even roommates for a year. Kate is forever indebted to Molly for introducing her to her favorite Chicago restaurant, Cafe Ba Ba Reeba, and for helping her constantly expand her music collection on Spotify. Favorite Molly memory: Hanging out, appropriately dressed in our PJs at our upscale hotel lobby on New Year's in Chicago after the Leftover Salmon concert

Brittny Congleton

Bridesmaid

Brittny & Victoria have shared SO many adventures, including how we met... in Chicago (kind of)... even though we're both from Kentucky! Our winding wonderful path has been one filled with creative quests, the brassy Southern women of HEY LADIES, open mics at The Store, DisCab, hippies and Bubbles Academy but is most marked by a shared love of creating magic where there was none before. Brittny's most cherished moments with Victoria include anytime we're by a campfire and V has her guitar, folksy sing-a-longs and long chats about life & Brandi Carlile!

Tiffany Leschke-Frederick

Bridesmaid

est: 2010 Tiffany and Kate met in grad school, specifically at the new student meet and greet picnic. Kate realized Tiffany was her type of people when she spotted her across the picnic, sipping wine right out of the bottle. Tiffany is Kate's beloved travel partner/hot tub connoisseur, and they've been to four countries outside of the US together, and at least 7 states. Favorite Tiffany memory: driving on the other side of the road on our Ireland road trip, narrowly dodging sheep in the countryside, then being confused as we approached a dead end in the road by a lake, followed by our GPS's casual instructions to "board the ferry."

Molly Todd-Madison

Bridesmaid

Molly and Victoria met when fate thrust them together as roommates for the summer intern program at Lexington Children's Theatre. They were often too exhausted to do anything after a long work day but still made time to bond over their love of The Office and shamefully, the Twilight movies saga. After the summer, they remained friends in Chicago where their real adult friendship could begin. They have had many artistic collaborations and even more laughs along the way. It's rare to find a friend you knew when you were young grow into a lasting, meaningful, adult, chosen sister but that is exactly what Molly has found in Victoria. She is so thrilled to know Kate and watch Victoria blossom into her true self around her. To growing into our best selves and helping each other along the way!

Emily Young

Bridesmaid

est: 2014 Emily and Kate met at a Halloween celebration, where Emily was dressed as Chucky, and Kate was Doctor Who. They were fast friends, bonding over shared experiences, celestial and spiritual aesthetics, and always laughing together over a drink. Emily and Kate share their love for both swanky drink spots and late night dive bars, sharing memories at both types of establishments through the years. Favorite Emily memory: When I visited Emily in Fort Collins and got to experience the astounding nature around us on hikes of nearby dams, valleys, and mountains.

Sarah Kelty

Bridesmaid

There are so many things Sarah admires about their friendship, it is hard to put it down in narrative form. Where can she begin?! She’ll begin from the beginning. 2003: Sarah and Victoria met at camp. At first, Victoria thought Sarah was really annoying because she played 4 Non Blondes’ “What’s Up?” on repeat during rest hour every day. Over the years, their friendship only went uphill - from joining Teva fan clubs to ice cream song debuts, from escape rooms to performing together in Fiddler on the Roof, Sarah and Victoria’s friendship spanned camp and high school, childhood and adulthood. They have matching tattoos, matching sailboat swimsuits, and matching hearts. Sarah is so excited to watch Victoria and Kate seal the deal - a year after getting married (part 1). Love you all!!!

Kate Berry

Officiant

While she won't be able to be at our reception, we'd love to brag about our officiant who made our elopement in Montana so wonderful! Read more about our officiant Kate here: https://www.kateberryjoyful.com/

Rachel Mauser

Bridesmaid

Rachel and Victoria (also known as Hobbes and Mina) met at Girl Scout Camp when they were in high school. They happened to live on the same street so, although their friendship began at camp, it quickly grew to include lots of sleepovers, outdoor adventures, New Year's Eve traditions, and more. Rachel was part of Victoria’s core group of Girl Scout friends who revived Christmas Camp, and then continued to attend for 10 years after they aged out. Rachel and Victoria worked at Bear Creek Aquatic Camp together for several years, inventing the ever so popular game - Hobbes-Mina (similar to Marco Polo, but better) They have remained friends through adulthood, staying in touch via a weekly-ish friendship call. Although they live far apart now, they will for sure be friends forever!

Rebecca Linares

Bridesmaid

Would you believe that Victoria and Rebecca have been friends for over 25 years? It would be over 26 except Victoria, being the go-getter that she is, was in the AM section of Kindergarten at Our Lady of Lourdes, while Rebecca, who was (is?!) a morning grump, was most certainly a PM section attendee. Fortunately, that didn't stop them from connecting in first grade and since then, their friendship has provided years’ worth of magic, laughter, joy, support, witty humor, fun travel, and real talk for which Rebecca is extremely grateful.
