Things To Do in Chicago

In town for the weekend and want to explore when you're not celebrating with us? Here's a list of the bridal party's favorite Chicago area things to do/eat/see:

The brides' favorite Oak Park restaurant: Amerikas

734 Lake Street, Oak Park, IL

This place was the first place we ate at when we moved to Oak Park. Latin food done differently, and done perfectly, in our opinions. Get the hummus!

Brittny's choice for an evening out: close up magic at The Magic Lounge

5050 N Clark St,

A bit north of downtown in Andersonville is a little magic lounge hidden behind the guise of a laundromat. The VIP tickets are worth the splurge for a great night!

Annie's favorite tourist spot: Navy Pier

600 E Grand Ave,

Hotspot for some classic Chicago scenery, a ferris wheel ride, and endless food stand options right on Lake Michigan. A must for first-time visitors to the Windy City!

Victoria's favorite sightseeing tour: Chicago Architecture Boat Tour

NW Corner of Michigan Ave + Wacker Dr,

This is where we went on our fourth date. It's incredible, even for locals! Bring a jacket.

Kate's go-to dessert spot: Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

908 w Randolph, Chicago, IL

There are many locations throughout the city, but this is closest to Oak Park. Oh, and try the goat cheese and cherry flavor. Trust me.

Molly T's pick for live comedy: Second City

1616 N Wells St,

Pop in for a night of Chicago's specialty: improv and sketch comedy. With multiple stages, there's tons to see nightly!
