Since our guest list is very limited by venue capacity, we would appreciate your RSVP as soon as you can possibly send it. The deadline, however, is September 1.
Please use our reception as an excuse to get fancy! Formal or semi-formal attire is requested. Suits and gowns are welcome, as are cocktail dresses and jackets with slacks. All other weekend events outside of the reception are smart casual attire.
Pleasant Home is located in the Pleasant District neighborhood of Oak Park. The venue has no parking lot, but metered street parking is available surrounding the park. Meters are free after 10pm.
Yes! We want you to enjoy our wine, beer, and premium liquor options for the night on us. The only thing we ask in return is that you join us on the dance floor after you’ve loosened up, and that you tip your bartenders.
Because of capacity limitations, invitations are intended only for the guests named on your envelope. Don’t worry, we will be sure to seat you with people you know and love!
We kindly request that you leave children at home with a sitter for our reception and welcome happy hour. Feel free to bring them along to our Sunday conservatory visit! If you're from out of town and traveling with a young child, we're happy to recommend sitters we know and trust.
Share the weekend festivities on social media using the hashtag #TheGoldenHour.
We’d love for our out of town guests to come Friday to spend the weekend with us, if able. For the evening of the reception, please arrive at 6:00.
Please email or call Kate or Victoria to discuss your food restrictions.
Please email or text Kate or Victoria (your choice, depending who you like better. We’re keeping a tally.)
