We're so excited to spend our wedding day with all of you! Whether you're coming from near, far, or will join us in spirit by sending love from a distance, we are so thankful for each and every one of you.
She liked his picture in a suit, he liked her picture with a dog. Next thing they knew, a three-hour first date at Church (a now-defunct bar in Portland, OR) turned into the rest of their lives together.
On our third date, we spent so long talking on a bench at Mt. Tabor in Portland that we found ourselves alone in the park (with our car nearly locked in for the night!). It was on that bench that the feelings that later became our love for each other began to take root, and we've gone back there many times since then. On a Monday in June of 2022, Tyler suggested to Kate that they go get ice cream then go for a little walk at Mt. Tabor afterwards. With the ring in his pocket, Tyler led Kate to the center of the copse of trees at the park's peak and got down on one knee. And now, here we are.
