FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kate Connell and Sean Darrow
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Vermont formal (flannel, jeans without holes, boots) and above (let's say no ballgowns or tuxedos). Basically we want you to wear something that makes you feel happy, comfortable and pretty; however, high heels are discouraged unless you want to spend your afternoon aerating the lawn. Don't forget to pack your galoshes--this is a rain or shine event!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome to the ceremony and reception! Please include whether they are attending on your RSVP so that we can plan food accordingly.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 1st.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Hors d'oeuvres are rolling out at 5pm, but we invite everyone to come earlier in the day! There will be flower-picking and arranging in the morning and lawn games in the afternoon. *We're marching down the aisle at 6pm*

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

There will be hors d'oeuvres available from 5 pm on, and dinner will be served starting at around 6:30 pm. We are having the event catered in a buffet-style manner. Please include any dietary restrictions on your RSVP!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

You will be driving PAST Thornwood Rd (the site of the wedding) unless you are a caterer or have mobility concerns. Take a left at the first light onto Monkton Road. Vergennes High School will be on your right, where there is plenty of parking! There are quite a few options for free street parking along Main Street from Olsen's Ice Cream to the center of town in Vergennes.
