Our love was that creepy up kind of love, the type of love that grows like malignant melanoma. We met back in 2010 through mutual friends, the unlikeliest of matches that turned out to be perfect for one another. We joke the initial terms of our relationship was 3 months with an option to extend, and through numerous extensions and annual performance reviews, and pets, we are looking forward to making this contract between two people much more permanent, and love nothing more to celebrate this joyous occasion with the people in our lives who have helped us on our path ...... and are all partly to blame for not yelling abort or breaking us up from the start.

How do you pick a spot to have a celebration when our journey thus far with our family and friends has taken us through many towns, cities and now states? Both being rural kids, we loved the idea of: - A relaxing outdoor environment (with shade of course) - A spot that doubles as an excuse for a vacation (easily accessible, has an airport) - A garden party feel (but with fancy clothes) - Delicious food (think high tea foods, cheese, and roast meals) - Beautiful natural surrounds (with a dam the photographer can push people in if her photos are messed up) - A dry wedding with juices and smoothies ....... joking ..... decent sparkles, wine craft beer and spirits - And of course our friends and family to make it a party and celebration Using a venn diagram, we found the perfect location in Friday Creek Retreat, a beautiful property tucked amongst the hinterland’s rolling hills of the Orara Valley, about 20min out of Coffs Harbour.
