Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00. Please arrive by 3:30 to comfortably find your seats.

Question

Will the Wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be inside the church sanctuary, but the cocktail hour and reception will be located in the grassy courtyard outside. We will be prepared with heaters and an indoor area will be available. Please come with a jacket or shawl just incase as Charleston in February can be warm or chilly. Additionally, keep in mind the shoes you wear due to the courtyard being grassy.

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Floral Formal. Gentlemen are to be in suits or tuxedos, military mess dress is welcome. Ladies are encouraged to wear floor length floral gowns and dresses in spring colors.

Where do I park?

Answer

The church has a moderately sized parking lot directly across the street. There is also parking available around the corner at Charleston Water System as well as street parking at any metered spot that is free parking on the weekends.

Are children invited?

Answer

We understand, as a military couple, how challenging it can be find childcare while traveling. If your child is not specifically mentioned on your invitation and you have no other option than to bring your child to our wedding, reach out to us and we can discuss the options.
