When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP by August 21st online! We would love to celebrate with everyone and can't wait to see you all, but we understand that life happens. If you are unable to attend our wedding, please let us know as soon as possible by updating your RSVP to 'cannot attend.'

What should I wear?
Answer
Black-tie attire: Kindly wear a tuxedo/dark suit or floor-length gown Our colors are champagne and bright colors and we encourage guests to dress bright and colorfully! Please keep in mind: October can have a slight chill to it in WNC and the ceremony will take place on grass (chunky heel may be better than stiletto heel)

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Early October can be chilly in the mountains but sometimes sunny and hot! Historical averages in the 50-70 degrees range. Be sure to keep checking the weather as the date gets closer and plan to bring a nice warm coat!

Will the events be outdoors?
Answer
Yes, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside (fingers crossed!)

Can we take pictures or videos during the ceremony?
Answer
No, as this will be an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that you do not take any pictures or videos until the ceremony has finished so you can remain present with us.

Can I take pictures after the ceremony has ended?
Answer
Absolutely! Please send them to Kate and Devin and add us to all your shared albums from the weekend, we want to see what you were up to! :)

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive between 4pm-4:15pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm.

Yes, plenty of parking!

What about transportation?
Answer
We strongly recommend booking a car service in advance if planning to travel to outside of the Flat Rock / Hendersonville area (aka Asheville and drinking). Locals find great success with these services: AVL Ride (https://www.avltaxi.com/) and Asheville Hopper (https://avlhopper.com/). If you have a rental car, there will be ample parking at the venue, too! As always, carpooling and sharing rides is a great idea! You are welcome to use Uber and Lyft, but the venue has reported difficulty with those services in the past. We recommend the Asheville-specific services listed above as your first choice!
