Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, a shuttle service is available from the Hampton Inn & Suites Roanoke Downtown Hotel. The shuttle(s) will leave the hotel at 3:30 pm and will pick up from the venue at 10:00 pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is black tie optional. For women, floor length dresses are preferred, but cocktail dresses are also acceptable. For men, a tuxedo is appropriate, but a dark suit is also acceptable. Please note that the ceremony and reception are both outside. We recommend bringing a coat for the evening and avoiding stilettos.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

I encourage you to take the shuttle available from the hotel (which leaves at 3:30 pm). However, if you prefer to provide your own transportation, please arrive at Bent Mountain Lodge by 4:15 pm.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We are having a Halloween welcome party on Friday, October 31st at Bent Mountain Lodge. This event starts at 7:00 pm and attendance is optional. Parking is available on site. Costumes are strongly encouraged!

You should have a plus one available to you via the RSVP. Please be sure to RSVP yes or no for your plus one so we can have an accurate headcount.
