Salt Lake City International Airport

SLC Airport is a Delta Hub and has flights from most US cities. The airport is 5 minutes from downtown and 20 minutes from anywhere in the Valley

Travel Note

Where to Stay

We did not book a hotel block for the weekend. Salt Lake has accommodations to fit any preference or budget. If you prefer Hotels, anything downtown would be a good choice, as you can easily access the airport, our venue, and countless restaurants and entertainment options. If you prefer rentals like Airbnb, Vrbo, and other rental options, some popular neighborhoods with access to the city include: The Avenues, Liberty Wells, 9th & 9th, Sugarhouse, and the University area. Popular areas with access to the outdoors include: Millcreek, Holladay, East Bench, and Cottonwood Heights (where we live!) Feel free to reach out if you find something you like and want our opinion before booking, but please be mindful of our time and ask well before our wedding month.

Rental Car

Should we book a rental car?

Booking a rental car depends on what you would like to do while you are in town. Getting around downtown, to and from the airport, and to and from our venue is very accessible by public transit (TRAX) and Uber/Ute Cab. If you are looking to explore more of Salt Lake/ Utah's outdoors, we recommend renting a car to get around. Our Welcome Party on Thursday is up Big Cottonwood Canyon, about 30 minutes from downtown. You will need a vehicle to access this venue. We are hoping to set up a carpool system so that everyone who wants to attend can get to this venue for the event.
