We went here for our first date!
This Italian restaurant was once upon a time called City Tavern - a frequent Saturday night for Canisius students. Enjoy some fine dining where Kate & Jeremy once mingled and danced to DJ Nicky Stylez many moons ago.
These picturesque grounds were once the Knox family's estate, and are now a beautiful NYS Park to enjoy. Any equestrian will fall in love day dreaming and frolicking around the trails. We took our engagement photos here of course.
Hoyt Lake is one of our favorite places in the city! It's apart of Delaware Park, where we love going for walks around the lake, through the little wooded trails, and admiring the views and surrounding architecture. Enjoy a meal at the Terrace overlooking the lake or rent a row boat to paddle around. The park is just a walk away from the Albright Knox Art Museum, minutes from the History and Science Museums, and many other cool places. P.S. There's a willow tree of course.
This is the place that they always advertise during the Sabres and Bills games! In the summer, it's a tourist-y delight at Buffalo's waterfront. There's always something going on down there (concerts, kayak rentals, boat tours, outdoor fitness, entertainment) and plenty of places to dine with a view. Kate and Jeremy would frequently play trivia here in the summer.
A beloved Buffalo restaurant where we've celebrated many big life events. Order the Spaghetti Parm! Wegman's sells their sauce!
We don't believe in there being just one "best wing place" in Buffalo. But, if you want to find the perfect balance between wings, drinks, and ambiance then Gabe's Gate is the place for you! We used to walk here when they lived in the Allentown/Elmwood area. If you're not into wings, they've got a great American-style menu with a Buffalo twist on things.
Our first place together was in the town of Clarence. We lived right in the hollow where the bike path ran through it. Aside from many walks and bike rides along the bike path, it's also the place we got engaged! Jeremy proposed next to the park pond where the bike path runs behind it.
