Question

Are you still going through with the 7/17/21 date....COVID rules..?

Answer

Yes! After a year later, we are more comfortable going forward with our postponed 7/17/21 date!!!! There are some restrictions and rules we will still need to follow during the event, but it is going to be much more like the day we envisioned having with everyone a year ago! We had the most perfect day in Mt. Rainier last year just the two of us, but we are so excited to celebrate with everyone now!! Bring on the good vibes and let's celebrate! TWENTY-TWENTY-FUN IS HERE! COVID Info: Luckily our event is all outside so that is in our favor! In order to keep everyone's health and wellness in mind, the venue will be following NYS guidelines (i.e., all guest enter from the same foyer, guest list at the door...sorry no crashing now, social distancing when up and at ordering at the bar, less than 150 people outside so no COVID testing or any of that is necessary now, etc.)

Question

I’m from out of town, where should I plan to crash for the night?

Answer

Check out the “travel” page on our site for details. Our venue is not far from nearby hotels. It is also about a 20 minute drive from the city of Buffalo.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are at Kloc’s Grove in West Seneca. Everything will be on the grounds of their “Garden Pavilion” outside. We will have the ceremony, followed by the cocktail hour and the reception right after.

Question

Is this wedding outside? What should I wear weather permitting?

Answer

Of course we are getting married outside! With that being said, the whole area is covered with a roof. Kloc’s is fully prepared to keep out any rain (cross you’re fingers there’s none!). They also provide cooling if it’s a super hot day. There is also an area for lawn games and patio seating that are not covered by a roof.

Question

Ladies - should I worry about wearing heels because it’s outside?

Answer

Nope! There is stamped concrete all throughout so you don’t have to worry about sinking in your heels! But wear whatever you feel pretty and comfortable in! We want you to have a great time and definitely get out on the dance floor!

Question

What’s the parking situation like?

Answer

There is a huge parking lot at the venue. Though, we do highly recommend Uber or Lyft. If you’re don’t know how, ask a millennial to help!

Question

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Yes, we created a list of experiences and things for our new home that we'd love to share together. Check out the Registry tab on top for the links (Zola, Target, etc.).

Question

Wait you already got married?`

Answer

Yes - so 7/17/21 will actually be our one year anniversary and the time to celebrate with everyone! We would also like to do a mini ceremony with our friends and family like we originally envisioned. Nothing's normal these days anymore!

Question

Is this a kid friendly event?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we hope you understand that we're making this an "adults only" event. Please tell your kiddo(s) THANK YOU for letting us borrow you for the night for some fun! :)

For all the days along the way
