Our top priority is to keep our loved ones safe and secure. To ensure our vulnerable guests feel confident and stay healthy on this happy occasion, we kindly encourage our friends and family to consider being fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine two weeks prior to traveling. For non-mathematicians, your second shot should be done by November 6, 2021, We know this is a personal choice and appreciate your thoughtfulness.
We are working very hard to keep our loved ones (and everyone!) safe. Here are our current measures: 1. Hosting the entire event outdoors. 2. Embracing "physical distancing" for your level of social comfort. (Introverts: We realize this might be a perk COVID or not!) 3. Providing hand sanitizer. 4. Providing single-use writing pens for your virus-free wishes! 5. Asking guests to bring a spare mask. 6. Encouraging guests to receive the full vaccination dosage two weeks prior to traveling. 7. Inquiring with vendors (politely) on their vaccination status. Non-vaccinated vendors are being kindly asked to wear their masks. 8. Offering a plated dinner and working with the hotel on seating chart safety measures. 9. Asking guests to please stay home (even though we'll miss your sweet face) if experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. *With the new Delta Variant making life even more complex, we're encouraging everyone to keep up with the latest protocols and suggestions from the CDC and WHO.
Please refer to the CDC website for recommendations and a symptom list, including fever, cough, loss of taste or smell, and other symptoms: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/if-you-are-sick/isolation.html https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/if-you-are-sick/steps-when-sick.html https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/if-you-are-sick/quarantine.html
"CDC recommends delaying travel until you are fully vaccinated, because travel increases your chance of getting and spreading COVID-19. If you are not fully vaccinated, find a vaccine. If you are traveling with children who cannot get vaccinated at this time, follow recommendations for unvaccinated people and choose safer travel options." https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/travel-during-covid19.html
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/travel-planner/index.html We also recommend checking with your home state's travel guidelines for testing and quarantining for your return trip home.
We hear ya. Whoever (#KAT) wrote this website can be quite long-winded. For reservations, please call 1-800-THE-OMNI, and kindly refer to the STANO-SAURA WEDDING.
Well, since you're already so stylish, we know you'll look dolled up in anything you choose. However, cocktail and dressy party attire are just dandy. And let us just say, sparkle is always a good idea. (Said Jon, of course.) Beauties: Cocktail, maxi, or occasion dresses, or those chic jumpsuits or party pants you've been raring to wear. Also...beach-friendly shoes! Please dress to your comfort-level for walking on sand and dancing in the ocean breeze. Beaus: Suits, blazers, and ties. (Clearly, your favorite special event attire!) Oh, yes, that also includes pants! We know you're oh-so-debonair, and can't wait to see you show it off!
According to hiltonheadisland.org, "November is one of the driest times of the year on the Island...Nearly every day in November warms to over 60 degrees, and if you’re lucky you may even experience a day or two in the low 80s. However, the temperature is cooling rapidly and can fall anywhere from a low of 49 to 32 degrees a few nights during the month. Plan around the forecasted weather and pack a few layers along with a warm coat to make sure you’re dressed for the variety of weather Hilton Head Island offers in November." https://www.hiltonheadisland.org/our-island/weather/november
Yes! We're working on a cocktail hour and plated dinner menu that includes a variety of items. If you have a specific food allergy, intolerance, or other dietary restriction, please do let Jon or Kat know.
Ideally, as soon as you know you'll be attending OR not attending! BUT, for our beloved procrastinators... by SEPTEMBER 30TH.* *We realize the Delta Variant is throwing us yet another curve ball, and this may affect your decision to attend. We are supportive of your decision to stay home (truly, the homebody life is pretty awesome), if that's the best option for you. Safety is our top priority, and we can always FaceTime you later with pics! Speaking of dates...read on for the next big question!
October 1, 2021. Not an early birdie? Set a reminder on your phone or ask a friend who likes to remind you of things to remind you!

The real question is: When will Cosette the Schnoodle NOT make an appearance? Cosette is the Schnoodle of Honor and already has her dress picked out. She's very excited to see you all!
