The Wedding Website of Katherine Bryant Stano and Jonathan Evan Saura
These are crazy times. We never thought we'd get married during a pandemic. Kat never even thought she'd ever get married. And Jon never thought he'd do this again, bless his heart. But here we are. In a pandemic. Getting married. Doing this. For your safety and our vendors' safety, we're trying to post the latest news on everyone's least favorite wedding crasher: The Delta Variant. This obnoxious mutation is very contagious and that does not make for a fun party. If you haven't already gotten the famous shot, we do highly recommend the COVID-19 vaccine. It will help keep you safe, along with others' attending and working (especially those who are high-risk). Also...we never thought we'd use the word, "mutation," in our wedding story. So there, it's already proving to be a very unique event! For the latest info, we've included an article from the New York Times below:

Wedding

4:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort
23 Ocean Lane, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928

Ceremony on the shore

Cocktail Attire is a beautiful choice, but don't forget to plan your footwear for walking on the beach! Ladies, consider wedges, sparkly sandals, or flats (for those who want to slip off their shoes and sink their toes in the sand). Also, please consider the possibility of a windy sunset or chilly evening under the stars. Should a full-on tropical storm pass through (please pray a full-on tropical storm doesn't pass through), the hotel will move the event indoors.

COVID-19 NEWS

4:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Cocktail Hour

4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort
23 Ocean Lane, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928

Appetizers and cocktails under the cabana deck's twinkle lights

Reception

5:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort
23 Ocean Lane, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928

Cocktail hour + the reception will be held on the hotel's cabana deck under the stars.

We'll have a fabulous DJ to get all of us on the dance floor. Plus, a surprise musical performance or two! The reception will end promptly at 10:00 PM to adhere to city codes and to give the wildlife (other than all of you, party animals!) some peace and quiet before their bedtime.

For all the days along the way
