Liberty Bell
The one and only! Seeing the Bell is free to the public, and likely won't be that crowded in February.
Blue Cross RiverRink
A Philly winter staple! Rent some skates and glide around next to the Delaware River. If that's not your thing, they also have pop-up winter lodges that feature scores of hot chocolates, coffees, and a fun cocktail or two.
Elfreth's Alley
The longest continually-inhabited residential block in the US! It's adorably colonial. You're welcome to meander down the street on your own, or you could hop on a tour of both the street and the house museum!
Betsy Ross House
Purported to be the building where Betsy Ross made the first American flag!
Independence Hall
A UNESCO world heritage site where the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were drafted! This one is close to the Liberty Bell if you're down for a history double-header.
Cherry Street Pier
An indoor-outdoor hotspot (Philly's got a thing for converting old piers into public spaces). A hub for local artists and foodies!
Christ Church Burial Ground
Ben Franklin's grave is here, along with other Declaration signers. There are several historic cemeteries in this part of the city!
2nd Story Brewing
This is the bar that Kat and Ben first met at in 2015!
Khyber Pass Pub
Kat and Ben's favorite bar in Old City. They have a great rotation of beers and even a few vegan options for food!
Han Dynasty - Old City
The Chinese food at this spot is unparalleled.
La Peg
A great local spot for high-end eats. The restaurant is connected to FringeArts, a contemporary performance art organization in Philly that produces some far out stuff! See a show if you have time!

Kat and Ben haven't eaten here themselves but they've had friends rave about it.

Menagerie Coffee
One of the best coffee spots in Philly, and certainly the neighborhood!
Old City Coffee, Inc.
A fun little hole-in-the-wall with great coffee. They roast the beans in house!
La Colombe Coffee Roasters
La Colombe is a local coffee chain that's quickly expanding into a national brand. Ben and Kat went on their first date at the LC in Fishtown, and Kat worked at the Independence Mall location a few years later. This one is close to Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, if you're doing that circuit. If you can stand cold coffee in February, the drink to try is their draft latte! (They make both a dairy and oat milk version! Ben's drink of choice is the black & tan- half draft latte and half cold brew. Kat's favorite is the same with oat milk!)
Philadelphia Flower Show
This is THE flower show, aka one of Philly's claims to horticultural fame. Put on annually by the Philadelphia Horticultural Society in the behemoth convention center downtown, the show is not one to miss, if you can snag a ticket. We highly recommend making time to go to this when you're in town!
