Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Please dress up seeing as there will be individual pictures with all the guests! The bride and groom will have a section during the reception where you will be asked to come stand by them and get a picture with them! Please note that it will be an outdoor wedding so make sure you are wearing something comfortable but nice! ** PLEASE DO NOT WEAR WHITE ** Ladies - Please do not disrespect our bride to be and wear any white dresses with minimal accent colors. If you have a dress with small white flowers that is fine but please do not wear something that is predominantly white as it is very disrespectful in our opinion to the bride!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Yes! Yes! There will be a kids table with bubbles, coloring pages, and toys along with kid friendly foods and drinks! However, please watch your children as the wedding is being held at a historical sight and we do not want to damage anything!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than February 18th, 2026! If you do not RSVP in time and you show up, you will be standing as we will have a set amount of chairs for the guests who RSVP! Please RSVP for everyone you plan to bring, children included!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be a posted sign to show where parking is!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We do not have a set menu for food, but please let the bride know if you have any food allergies that she needs to be concerned about!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 30 minutes early to account for any traffic and to have time for parking!

Who should I contact if I have any questions regarding the wedding?

Please contact the bride for any and all questions you may have!

Where should I sit at the ceremony and after?

Answer

We will not have set sides! Please make note that we will have a reserved section up front during the ceremony for immediate family and two specific tables at the reception for immediate family but find a seat and sit! We are not picking sides! If you were invited, you were invited by both the bride and groom!

Will there be alcohol or a bar?

Answer

Yes! We have a set menu of drinks that we will have. Seeing as the venue does not have a liquor license there will be no liquor served but we have a selection of beers, wine, champagne, and seltzers to pick from!

Can I take photos?

Answer

Yes and no. Please be mindful of the fact that we are paying a lot for a photographer and videographer. Don’t be that person with their phone in the middle of a beautiful shot. Please be respectful during the ceremony but after the ceremony is over take ALL of the pictures you would like at the reception! There will be a spot to scan a QR code to share the photos immediately with the bride and groom so they can see them!

When does the wedding end?

Answer

Noise restrictions go into place at 11pm but we plan to be done with everything at 10pm but if you decide to stick around and help clean up, we’d greatly appreciate it!

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! If you are in a wheelchair or have a walker please arrive early and pull to the front of the house to unload! The driveway from the parking lot it mainly gravel but you are welcome to park upfront to unload and then ask someone to move your vehicle to the designated parking area!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

You will be directed to take part in our cocktail hour as the bride and groom finish up some photos! Cocktail hour will be roughly 45 minutes to insure the bride and groom get all the photos they would like and then they will join everyone to start the reception!

Do you have any recommendations for weekend activities, points of interest, or places to eat?

Answer

Yes!! There is a section of the website titled “Things To Do” that the bride has added some fun things to do around the Charleston area that are family friendly and great site seeing attractions!
