The Wedding Website of Fredella Lee and Kasey Kwong
First off, we want to thank everyone for taking the time to come to our wedding. We know Spain is far from everyone's homes. Below outlines what traveling to our venue may look like (including airport, options for transportation) and recommendations for lodging.

Travel Note

Travel Documentation

Please make sure your passport is up to date and does not have an expiration date within 6 months of your travel dates. There are currently no visa requirements for USA and Hong Kong SAR passport holders (as of typing this on 11/10/2025) to enter Spain/EU. Please double check the requirements as they apply to you.

Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN)

The Barcelona airport is about 1-1.5hr away from Blanes and the venue. Take the R2N Rodalies train, the L9S subway, the Aerobus, or taxi to get from the airport to Barcelona. Options to reach Blanes include the train, bus, and rental car.

Travel Note

Getting to Blanes from Barcelona

There are a variety of methods to get from Barcelona (airport or city) to Blanes, where the venue is. These include: - Rodalies R1 train line - Sagales 603 or 621 shuttle buses - Rental Car

Travel Note

Barcelona Public Transportation

There are a variety of public transportation options in Barcelona including train, subway, and bus. For those that are planning to spend a few days in Barcelona, T-mobilitat passes can be purchased at essentially any station. Please review the TMB website to determine which pass option is best for your travel. For those planning to stay within Barcelona Zone 1 for 5+ days, the T-usual pass is actually a better deal than the 5-day Hola Barcelona card.

Rental Car

Rental Car

Renting a car from the Barcelona Airport or from within Barcelona is easy and a good option for those that want more flexibility or have other sights they want to see during their trip. Blanes (and the venue) is ~1 to 1.5hr drive away from Barcelona. NOTE: parking is not available at the venue on the day of the wedding. Instead, you can park the car at your accomodations or at the port parking where the shuttle will be picking up/dropping off before and after the wedding.
