For travel to Blanes, please refer to the Travel page for info on trains and other transportation options from Barcelona to Blanes. On the wedding day, a shuttle bus will be provided from the Port de Blanes parking lot to the venue. No parking is available at the venue. You can also take a taxi from your accommodation to the main entrance of the venue. Please refer to the Wedding Day or Travel pages for more information on these options.
Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. In case of rain, these events will be held underneath a glass tent in the same area, but we are crossing our fingers for a sunny day! The reception will take place in the Convent with the dance floor, located right outside under a glass tent.
We appreciate that you will be looking for a suitable place to stay to attend our destination wedding. There are several accommodation options (Airbnb or Hotel) available within a short distance of our venue. For the more anxious travelers, we recommend staying in the Blanes area (especially near the beach as that will be closer to the venue).
We would recommend formal attire while encouraging florals and spring time colors to express similar vibrancy that the beach town, Blanes, exudes. TLDR: colorful cocktail dresses and suits are great! No tuxedos required. More importantly, wear an outfit that makes you feel gorgeous and comfortable.
Based on previous weather patterns and research, the temperature will likely range from 60s to 70s (in Fahrenheit) with lots of sun. We recommend bringing an extra layer given that we will be next to the sea so there'll be a ~breeze~.
Although we would love to invite some of your loved ones (and little ones) to celebrate with us, we are trying to keep our guest list just to close family and friends to maintain an intimate setting. The name of every guest invited to attend is listed on your invitation. However, please feel free to reach out to us to ask if you have a plus one that is not listed and we can always try to accommodate if we are able to. In terms of children, we think all of your kids are the cutest. Children that are invited will also be listed in the invitation sent out.
We kindly ask that you do not use your personal devices to take photo/video during the ceremony. We will have professional photographers and videographers helping us to capture this special day.
