Visa Requirements

Visa Requirements Indian e-Visa (e-Tourist Visa) Facility is available for passport holder of following countries: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Italy, Japan, Thailand, USA and Vietman. Processing time for e-Tourist visa is a minimum of 4 business days. However, urgent processing facility is also available.

Delhi Airport

Delhi Airport (IATA: DEL, ICAO: VIDP), also known as Indira Gandhi International Airport and IGI Airport, is the only airport serving the city of New Delhi. If you plan on traveling to other Indian cities prior/post wedding, Delhi has flights to all major destinations in India.

Wedding Travel update

Flights: If you haven’t already done so, we highly encourage you to start looking at flights! Once you have your flight details, please share them with us so we have an idea of how long you’re planning to stay in India and if we can help with your trips! Hotel: We’re hosting you at Le Meridien in Gurgaon from 12/29-12/31! The hotel is about 10 mins drive away from the venue (we’re at the same venue both days). If you’d like to stay beyond those dates we’ve pre-negotiated pricing with the hotel on your behalf. Please email yougantika.azad@lemeridien.com to book additional nights. Please note - the hotel has a NYE package so if you’re staying the night of 12/31 the costs will be higher but includes some evening entertainment Traveling in India: Let us know if you’re interested in traveling around India before or after the wedding - we’ll be in India from 12/18 to 1/7! Sounds like most folks will be arriving in time for the wedding and staying the week after. Let us know how we can help! Here’s the agenda we are thinking of. If you are interested in joining us please let us know! Before the wedding we’ll be in Delhi. The week leading up to the wedding we’ll have an “open house” the week leading up to the wedding. These are nights where family and friends get together ahead of the wedding to catch up over drinks and practice the choreography for dances! The week after the wedding we’re planning to be in Jaipur (30 min flight from Delhi) but we haven’t finalized our plans yet! If you’re interested in traveling around India after the wedding, let us know! We can connect you with some travel agents to set up your trip! New Year Eve: If you’re planning to stay around Delhi for New Years, let us know! We’re planning to book a table at one of Kartik’s friend’s bars in Delhi to ring in the new year!
