Flight
Frankfurt (FRA) is the easiest place to fly into. Our hotel block is in Deidesheim, which can be reached by train. The Frankfurt train station is located inside of the FRA airport. You can also opt to fly into Stuttgart (STR), but you will need to take a taxi or public transportation to the train station.
Flight
Stuttgart is another good option for flights. The train station is not connected to the airport, but you can get there using taxi or the S2 and S3 subway lines. It takes about 25 minutes to get from the airport to the train station. The train from Stuttgart to Deidesheim takes about 2 hours.
Train
The Frankfurt train station is located in the international airport. There are 1-2 trains to Deidesheim every hour. Prices should range from 15 - 40 euro. You can search all departure and arrival combinations in the attached website [English version!]

Located in the heart of beautiful Deidesheim ... but more importantly right next door to a winery! We encourage you to look around at other hotels in the area. Kaisergarten has plenty of rooms available , but there are cheaper options in the area. The block rate has expired, but rooms are still available through standard booking options.

House Or Rental
There are many independent Gastehaus, Pensions, and Residenz near Deidesheim and Neustadt that do not appear on AirBnB. You will need to email or call the individual houses directly. Many are located directly in the vineyards and are a great way to really experience the area! Some options sleep up to 8-10 people.
House Or Rental
There are limited AirBnB options in the area. If you are planning on renting a house or apartment versus staying in the hotel block, get on it early!! Search in the Deidesheim or Neustadt area. No Lyft or Uber, so make sure you can either walk there or that someone staying with you has a car!
Rental Car
Most major car rental companies have a location at the Frankfurt Int'l Airport. Uber and Lyft are not in Germany. If you are planning on seeing any remote sites that are not serviced by the train system, you will probably need a car [just no wine tasting if you're the driver!]

Travel Note
There is parking available at Hambacher Schloss if you decide to drive to the wedding. That said, we are NOT encouraging you to drive yourself home after the festivities! Cars can be left in the parking lot overnight if needed. We will have a shuttle that can take you back into town when you decide to call it a night.
