About Us
We wish we could say that we had a fairy tale meeting but.. We didn't. We met like a lot of people these days: on a dating app. Specifically Tinder! Kai had been on it 2 years with no luck and Carter was on it for 2 days.. We swiped right at first because we liked each other's cats (Winnie is just so fluffy and Lilo is just so Round).
We talked for about a week before Kai asked Carter if they'd like to go on a date. This is where the story gets a bit more unique. Carter decided to take a risk and have the first date on their birthday. We met at Kai's place at the time (another risk we know), where Carter got to meet the Roundest cat. From there we ate dinner, walked around Lake Eola, went to Joysticks, and then back to Kai's to watch Legend of Korra. We talked about anything and everything, and by the time the night was over, we were certain we wanted a second date. It was also after midnight- and officially Kai's birthday!
