Chace and Karissa are high school sweethearts, having met as teenagers at the ages of 17 and 15. They have shared many special moments and accomplishments together, including attending each other's high school graduations, going to four homecomings and a prom, and eventually both earning Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Chace graduated with a degree in Computer Science, while Karissa earned a degree in Interior Architecture. Along the way, they also welcomed two kitty friends into their lives, Lemon and Nike. More recently, they added a new addition to their family, Gordon, an Alaskan Klee Kai dog!

On a beautiful day at Pismo Beach, California, Chace surprised Karissa with a proposal that she'll never forget. The date was conveniently nestled between both of their birthdays, and Chace used this as an excuse for a luxurious weekend getaway at a fancy hotel. Just as the sun began to set over the water, Chace got down on one knee and asked Karissa to spend the rest of her life with him. Little did she know, Chace had set up a tripod to capture the entire proposal on film. The moment was intimate and absolutely perfect, with the stunning beach setting adding to the romance of the occasion.
